The Technology Workshop discusses issues relating to technology such as Networking (wired and wireless), PC Security, Cloud Computing, Internet technology, Digital TV, new hardware and software, etc. Meetings last about two hours monthly on the first Tuesday of the month. Members discuss items of interest to the group.
The initial discussion topics were "Home Networking".
Subsequent topics were "RSS", "Digital Slideshow Creation", "Backup/Restore" and "Diagnostic and Recovery Tools".
Recent topics included "Cloud Computing", "iPhone", "iPad", "Windows 8 Preview", "Wireless Networking", iOS 8 & OSX 10, Virtualization and Windows 10.
